What are you now....39? exactly!!! airtwardo thirty nine years since my first "knees-are-knockin" static line "poised exit"!!!! hell... poised?? i was frozen!!!! but just for a second,, and then i ARCHED..... ... and it's been a blast !!!! since.....i'm a child of 1953, so still Under the requirement for S O S membership... All is well, i have had a wonderful day. i like to cook and so does Nancy... (not so good for the old waistline.. once we reach 'middle- age' but what the hell... live a little right???) so linguine and seafood sauce !!!Some friends and family have made the fine suggestion to " get yourself to a dropzone, and make a jump!!!".. which IS sound adviceBut since we're having the Kids & their S.O.s over for a relaxing evening @ Home.... and had planned it without realizing that it would come up a Glorious day !!! AND dz's would be operating.... i have commissioned some trusted jumping buddies from 'way back when !!' ,, to "get THEMSelves" over to the dz,,, and make a couple FOR me....!!!!! They said they would happily do just That !!! and will likely be climbing to altitude within the Hour.!!! Now that's what i call Friends!!!!!! I hope they make 2 or 3 ... thanks everyone for the smile on my face and your friendly greetings.!!! Ahhh Allison just came in the door.. That 28 foot LOPO black and white and red..... might have been in a Style MAster container system.... i Know right where that canopy is currently located.... well sorta... i Know it's somewhere Under water in Lake Ontario... settled under the lapping white caps, when it was jumped for a water jump,, The jumper was OK, but between the touchdown and the arrival of the pick-up boat, the gear got heavy, and sunk... fortunately the jumper was OUT of the harness. we dragged that area of the Lake with a treble hook, a number of times , in the weeks there after...
