Space Shuttle "Discovery"

Recommended Posts

The Space Shuttle Orbiter Discovery, OV-103, is currently undergoing decommissioning at Kennedy Space Center, prior to leaving for the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum. This is a user-controlled 360 degree panorama photo of the Flight Deck (it goes up and down also). Enjoy.

there has GOT to be a CD player in there somewhere - but I sure couldn't find it!! :S

I sometimes have trouble figuring out how to adjust the thermostat in my car.

I found the sound system, zoomed in and captured a screen shot for you.

Cool! Where's the cup holder?

Probably has a magnetic bottom and you can only use callapsible bottles with a metal base and a suck-action nipple or something

Hell if I know. :P

According to Mike Mullane - THEY ARE. Of course, in zero G it isn't a problem. But lying on yoru back for hours waiting for launch is explained to be an exceedingly uncomfortable thing.
