So Im signed up for a "Webinar" thing offered for some work stuff. So, am I just going to be anonymously watching an online seminar/presentation kinda thingy??

Not quite anonymous, but yes, basically its an online slideshow/video/voice conference.

yes. depending on the format, there might be a way for you to have a q & a session as well. But pretty much you'll be sitting alone watching presentations online.

Webinar's I've been in, basically runs as an audio teleconference running simultaneously with a seminar presentation running inside your web browser. Sometimes there's also video teleconference, but usually it's been audio only.

For that, because I am deaf, I use it in combination with a captioning service or instant messaging chat.
