bobsled92 0 #1033 July 20, 2010 Quote Sort of like this guy who was checking out my scoot at a local bar a few years ago. Mind you he had on a HD shirt, jeans, boots, belt, chained wallet and a HD bandanna tied around his head. him: "Nice bike, what is it?" me: "Kawasaki Vulcan" him: "Oh...if its not a Harley, it aint shit!" me: "Ok, what do you ride?" him: "Uhhh...I don't have a bike..." True story! Not exactly Nick or Skyrider's kind of rider. I get that all the time I ride a Triumph Rocket III 140cubic inches and my starter motor is at 7lbs MORE torque than a 1200 nightster, at the crank. It's now modified and NEVER gave me trouble, just power and sore shouders on the harsh accel. I get noise from the dorks that dont ride._______________________________ If I could be a Super Hero, I chose to be: "GRANT-A-CLAUS". and work 365 days a Year. http://www.hangout.no/speednews/

Not to mention soemone to jump with, My wife doesnt; feel good about both of us jumping , till our son is old enough to join us! so she has pretty well stopped for a few years! Damn DMV (titel service) I use is giving me a bit of a headache, they claimed I owed 975 dollars in back fee's, but they carved it down to 235.00(they know shortcuts) BUT, I still haven;t recieved my stickers...they say they can only pull this off with on clerk, and are waiting to get to here window! If they hadn't fixed so many titles for me in the past, I might have my doubts in thier words...but they never failed me yet!
skyrider 0 #1038 July 20, 2010 The Traveling DZ is supposed to be there, (hell you could turn it into a working vacation), do a few tadems in teh the Bufalo chip campground! One day of tandems would pay for your trip,,,even more if they needed a rigger!
NickDG 23 #1039 July 20, 2010 Are you at the DMV right now? (Now serving number six millon at window number forty thousand!) My tandoom rating is uncurrent so I don't have to do those anymore, thank goodness! Hope they sort you out at the DMV. They actually sent me temp for real license plate like they said they would. The plate that says 9INA should arrive soon . . . NickD
skyrider 0 #1040 July 20, 2010 I don't do DMV when avoidable! I am using my title service! We had to do DMV last month "Twice" for Skykid to get his permanent drivers lisense! first trip, they said I needed a letter they sent to us, It was in my mailbox when we got home...3 hours wasted! so we go back, with he letter, check in, get our number, Leave, Go eat, stop by a buddies bike shop, I grab a beer, then head back...we are still 87 numbers away...we go out the the parkng lot, and watch a movie on DVD...With less than ten minutes to go, of our movie, we go back inside, we are 6 away................Jezus, I am happy to pay a service to be there for me! NickDG 23 #1041 July 22, 2010 So I got a Droid X and it totally solved my lack of a speedometer. I tried it out on a trip to Best Buy to get a set of Skull Candy ear buds for the phone and it worked great! There's a bunch of different speedo applications you can d/l for the X so I'm trying a few out. Plus on the way home, 'cause I got the ear buds, I had the tunes cranking! It's the San Dimas Car, Truck, and Motorcycle Show. My paint job isn't really show worthy so I'm just hoping Nina can hold her own going up against all the billit barges, LOL!
