shah269 0 #1 July 28, 2011 http://news.yahoo.com/photos/the-edgewalk-at-toronto-s-cn-tower-1311798178-slideshow/ Daredevils in red jumpsuits can teeter around the outside edge of Canada's tallest structure next month as Toronto's CN Tower opens a new attraction for thrill-seekers and those wanting to overcome fear. A reporter leans over the edge of the catwalk during the media preview for the "EdgeWalk" on the CN Tower in Toronto, July 27, 2011. Participants are strapped in to a harness that is attached to a guard rail while walking around the catwalk on the structure 356m (1,168ft) off the ground. http://l.yimg.com/bt/api/res/1.2/IqbT2PLrwHaAhtn5r7vv3Q--/YXBwaWQ9eW5ld3M7Zmk9aW5zZXQ7aD00MDc7cT04NTt3PTYzMA--/http://media.zenfs.com/en_us/News/Reuters/2011-07-27T165302Z_01_MDB01_RTRIDSP_3_CANADA.jpg "I'm going to pee on you drip drip drip." Man those Canadian girls sure are kinky! Just my type! Life through good thoughts, good words, and good deeds is necessary to ensure happiness and to keep chaos at bay. The only thing that falls from the sky is birdshit and fools!

MikeJD 0 #6 July 29, 2011 Since just looking at those pictures made me queasy, I think I'll leave them to it. As to a surprise jump, joking aside I'd say we should leave them in peace and not crash their party. Any BASE during the hours they're operating would get likely get the staff into trouble, and quite possibly the attraction closed down. Oh, and nobody likes a show-off. base283 0 #7 July 29, 2011 That is only a measly sub 1200ftr. The Grand Canyon Skywalk is da Bomb at 4000ft. Take care, space http://www.grandcanyonskywalk.com "Go where only the eagles dare to fly…welcome to the Grand Canyon Skywalk. Helicopters can take your through her many valleys. Buses can drive you by her many peaks. But only you can walk the sky. Imagine yourself suspended in air 4,000 feet over the majesty of the Grand Canyon … view the glory of the Colorado River below, witness the sunrise over the canyon’s carved peaks, and listen to the stillness of Mother Nature. The Skywalk at Grand Canyon West is a unique glass-bottomed cantilever observation deck that spans 70 feet over the canyon's rim....."

Ever heard of steel wire? Yes, everytime I jump I'm an optimist, on the ground I am a pessimist. Harness better be steel also. Wonder if the walkers have to sign a waiver.
