shropshire 0 #3 July 28, 2011 I love this race ... it's a real shame that these athletes do not get the recognition that they so justly deserve. The ability to track this live is amazing and really exciting ... The race for the runner up places is HOT (.)Y(.) piisfish 140 #4 July 28, 2011 QuoteloadingLatest News 28/07/11 15.12 Image 1/1 LOVE THIS No joke: Maurer´s "Hello" was done in practise for in flight messages! Arriving at the top of Peille, supporter Thomas Theurillat told me that their "Hello" message of yesterday, captured by Live Tracking, was just a practice run. Maurer was planning to write "CM" - his initials - on his way to Monaco. It would have involved a full stall and flying backwards to make the "M", apparently. Indeed Maurer did pen a message on his way to Peille. Whether it was intentional or not remains to be seen, but his heart shape was spotted by several people following online. shropshire 0 #5 July 28, 2011 I've been following the race since I returned from holiday (Down near you again .... can't keep away!!).... I saw the HELLO flight track (http://www.redbullxalps.com/live-tracking.html) and damned near fell off my chair. He is an animal - so far a head of the rest of the pack and just sort of mincing around for the past 24 hours..... There's a 48 hour time gate running when he lands at Monaco - so anyone else outside of 48 hours after him completing is OUT ..... so it could be that he is allowing more people to make the cut (or is being told to by Red Bull). There is a great race going on for places 5,6 & 7 (They've just passed Mont Blanc 244kms behind!!!) (.)Y(.)
