SpeedRacer 1 #1 August 21, 2011 OK, I have a PC that had a virus. I got rid of the virus, but something got deleted as well that is causing problems. It has Windows XP Media, and I could correct the problem by updating the OS. To do that I'd have to go up to Windows Vista, then update again to Windows 7. But I have also been thinking about switching to Mac. I want to get into video blogging, is Mac better for that? I did have firewalls and anti-virus software, and I did keep it updated, but I still got viruses, and hopefully that won't be as much of a problem with Macs. Also, I heard Macs are good for video. So do you think it would be worth the $ to switch to a Mac? How much of a machine would I need for video? quade 4 #2 August 21, 2011 QuoteHow much of a machine would I need for video? Honestly? An iPhone with the iMovie app. That's really the amount of power you -need- for video blogging. Maybe even less. The question is, are you going to be satisfied with only doing video blogging or do you have greater aspirations?quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
