DRL's on a Volt

Don't know much about them, but you can turn them off. They come on when the car senses that it is daylight and the switch is in the "auto" position. I'm not sure why you would want to turn them off. The car is statistically much less likely to be hit when they're on. So much so, that most insurance cos. give discounts for cars that have them.

As for battery draw, at least they are LEDs, not halogen. They probably don't use as much juice as the radio/nav system. So, no music for you ;)
