I remember in the 7th or 8th grade we were just settling in one of my classes and the teacher had slipped in and was sitting quietly at her desk doing paperwork, and my classmate was deadpanning to her friend next to me. That will just get his kid suspended... I earned myself a 2 week suspension in 8th grade for giving a bully a black eye and a broken nose... AFTER he tried to shove my head through the bus window and choke me.

I guess I also earned his respect/fear because he didn't fuck with me for the next 4.5 years, so it was worth it.

My parents were pissed, until they saw the video that I only acted after I was attacked, then they were pissed at the school for suspending me for defending myself, but I guess that's the current world we live in.

i can remember sending my 2 year old daughter to bed and on the way she stubbed her toe on a steel tool box that was in the hall. no crying, no yelling, she just looked down and calmly said, "fuck", then went on her way to bed. my ex looked at me kinda shocked, but i shrugged and said, "she used it in context, can't really give her shit for that".
