monkycndo 0 #1 October 31, 2011 Spent two days at the DZ in the wonderful comfort of RV to get some jumping in. Made a total of 5 jumps. -1 solo WS jump. -1 coaching jump on my belly. Yes, I actually took my WS off my rig. -3 2 way WS jumps. Got my student wingsuits back after having a few mods made. Had a cool conversation with the pilot/owner of an absolutely gorgeous Stearman. It is the first production plane of its type. So, of course I begged for a ride. He said "Maybe tomorrow". Might have finally figured out a name for the RV. Yes, I name all my vehicles. Deal with it. Wore an uber sexy costume to the DZ Halloween party. When packing up the RV to head out, got a call on the PA of "Monkey, go to the fuel pumps". Poked my head out of the RV and what did I see there, but the Stearman. I had a perma-grin on my face from take off roll until touch down. Talk about 20 minutes of pure heaven. From what I could see on the mirror under the wing, he was having as much fun giving me the ride as I was just being the passenger. Talk about a real class act. All I can say is "Thanks Jimmie". So, how was your weekend?50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity

airtwardo 7 #6 October 31, 2011 Wore an uber sexy costume to the DZ Halloween party. ~ useless post without pictures! ...and I got an E ticket ride of rolls, loops, touch-n-go in a local farmers orchard, then buzzing through the ravines of the surrounding country side with the hill tops above us. Scared quite a few cattle. I had a perma-grin on my face from take off roll until touch down. ~~~I got a similar ride in a Waco once a few years back, the pilot was an air show performer and aerobatic competitor...he said, "Do ya A ride...or do ya want THE RIDE?" I took 'THE RIDE' and I'm glad I did, remember it clearly to this day! Afterwards he told me: I don't know about you Skydivers...either ya'll have a lotta guts, you don't care about dying or you're too stupid to know when the reaper is pissin' in your boots. I pointed to my feet..."Fuck the reaper, we always wear sandals!" ~ If you choke a Smurf, what color does it turn? ~
MikeJD 0 #7 October 31, 2011 That does sound like an awesome weekend - nice one! I've only ridden in a Stearman once, but your trip sounds way better. I just got one loop, and one and a half rolls. I missed the end of the second roll because I got tipped out.

pincheck 0 #10 October 31, 2011 My weekend consisted of photographyAll urban exploring avoiding detection while taking my pictures and leaving the same way 2 brickwork's which are dead now one where the directors, basically cut the feet from under the workforce but they are ok. As they had a deal to sell the land to developers after laying of the workforce ............Charming And a old Mental asylum that has seen better days was my first night solo explore all alone, so it always has a special place for me event though my friend is a industrial nut he appreciated the designed brickwork and construction methods used well he is a bloody Architect by profession so i should think so These where my original pictures from my first explore and a good one for Halloween This was my 1st impression all alone http://www.flickr.com/photos/9483441@N07/1770936756/ Twin towers under moonlight http://www.flickr.com/photos/9483441@N07/1770952218/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/9483441@N07/1770121285/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/9483441@N07/1770977378/ sky at night http://www.flickr.com/photos/9483441@N07/1770941296/ Inside the only accessible tower as the clock tower was gutted inside by Fire this is a wind directional towerhttp://www.flickr.com/photos/9483441@N07/1770110343/ Billy-Sonic Haggis Flickr-Fun

JohnMitchell 16 #16 October 31, 2011 I still have to check off the "open cockpit biplane ride" on my list. Glad you got to. Vskydiver's mom and dad have a friend with a couple of P-51's, so I did get a 20 minute aerobatic ride in one of those. Best 20 minutes in a plane ever.I don't know if you costume was sexy or just scary. Vskydiver and I got 4 jumps in Saturday when the rain gods decided to take the day off in Seattle. We had a great time at the Kapowsin Halloween party and Film Fest that night. Sunday, back to rain. Here's our costume for this year. Not too scary, but it'll make you hungry.
