Abedy 0 #1 November 23, 2011 I already mentioned that I collect ducks? Well, not real ducks but all kinds of figurines etc. Well, I stumbled upon a mallard duck on amazon.de and there it is, see pic attached. I know there are mallard phones in the US as well, made of wood with their eyes glowing and (pityful attempt of) quacking but mine looks cooler, hehe. Well, just wanted to share and show off The sky is not the limit. The ground is. The Society of Skydiving Ducks

peanut_gallery 0 #7 November 23, 2011 I think my dad still has an old mallard phone in the attic at his house. I used to play with it when I was little. I know we still have my grandpa's old wooden duck decoys and I've heard those can go for a pretty penny.

Abedy 0 #14 November 24, 2011 Quote So, does it quack when someone calls? It should. That's the only disadvantage - it only rings. But at least it's what most mobiles provide as "Doctor's phone" ring tone - back to Duckie Mallard Have a nice quack tirade as my "ring tone" on my mobile - people's looks are sometimes priceless when it goes off near them The sky is not the limit. Abedy 0 #15 November 24, 2011 Why not? Erm... to be honest, I dunno exactly. Have always liked ducks, started collecting them in GDR times (when duck figurines except from bath toys were scarce) and kept doing so. I also like watching them. They can walk, fly, swim and dive. They're just like us parrotshooters, huh? The sky is not the limit. The ground is. The Society of Skydiving Ducks
