Meso 38 #2 January 19, 2012 Let's go with that.... ;) Our server host actually had an explosion occur a few blocks from their headquarters which ended up destroying the fibre cable and there were problems with the opposite outbound cable.

Just for grins I weighed a block ( yeah you could cut the crap into blocks) that was 12" deep snow x 18" wide) shovel width x 14" shovel height = 21.5 pounds. Needless to say I did not shovel my 100'+ driveway. I cranked up the big red truck with the nice big tires and beat all that crap down so I could drive Bugly across the top of it.Nice warm fire....check fine cigar... is there such a thing... they always smell like burning donkey turds to meNice Scotch.... nah.. I substituted some Sambuca for "medicinal purposes"

If we got a foot of wet, heavy snow here I'd have been out shoveling too. ...But we didn't so I didn't. (Actually it's getting a little warm here.) normiss 898 #10 January 19, 2012 Snow??? Suddenly having to mow the grass doesn't seem so bad. (but the weed eating and edging still do!)

I was shovelling %!%$!#%$ SNOW... over a foot of WET..... HEAVY .... SNOW.... now the freezing rain is kicking in again. Hi A SOPAI thought I just got banned againSnow? Yikes we've got some toI've noticed that the snow will eventually go away on its own when the temp's get above 32 degree's. No human power needed. No way am I going to allow my domestic partner risk getting hit by a falling tree and work her butt off removing snow for 1/3 of a mile to the main road. We've got enough T.P. to last us thru the winter. No reason to leave the mtn. Grass is a problem that stuff starts growing as soon as my boss cut's it Thats why we got her a riding lawnmower. One acre in less than 30 minutes. So far the electricity has gone out twice today, I assume its due ice, tree's and cars. We got a generator that came with the house. To bad we haven't started it in 4 yr's. IMO it's not worth the noise. R.

I was shovelling %!%$!#%$ SNOW... over a foot of WET..... HEAVY .... SNOW.... now the freezing rain is kicking in again. It's been shit here in Pullman. Driving home after work today, I couldn't take my normal right turn because a city plow had just blocked the intersection with a huge snow berm. Took another route. Pulled over a bit to allow a plow to get by and got stuck. Plow guy stops to help as I was shoveling snow. He said he was barely making it in his big truck. I got going, but chucked my PS/water pump/alternator belt in the process. Instantly fogged all inside glass. Had to stop a couple times to let the engine cool. Got the car home, but it's totally stuck in the snow in front of my house. Another 6" expected after the freezing rainGot tomorrow off and have plenty of Deschutes Jubelale and IPA in the fridge...... The Gov declared a State of Emergency so she can call out the NG if needed.... I cant wait for tomorrow when the warm air that is up over the top of us finally scours out this cold crap of 25 degrees here at the house where its still snowing.... Now they have put up flood warnings for all of Western WA... since when this system pushes in off the Pacific and melts all this crap..... yup... I wonder if Snohomish Harvey Field will be part of the temporary Lake Snohomish again like it does every few years.
