AiRpollUtiOn 0 #1 January 23, 2005 Í want to order a new Oddysey like the day before yesterday, but I still have one problem with the colors. Help me out here! Look at the attached picture. I want to do a similar thing but with different colours. My problem is that you can only select one color for the bindings on the color selectors @ sunpath.com and square1.com I want to know how much three colors for the bindings will set me back but more importantly I want to know how to communicate this to Sunpath in a way that leaves no room for misinterpretation. If you don't see the problem yet I'll explain a bit more: (try to do this on a color-selector yourself and you'll rapidly find out what I mean) While you can only select one colour for the bindings on the available online color selectors, for what I want I need 3 colors of binding. Just so we are all talking in the same color-code, just assume I want to order the exact same colors as the picture. All around the nr.4 flap you want the binding to be black. Around the flap covering the reserve-pin you want the binding to be white, and the rest of the bindings (surrounding the red areas) you want in red. I sent an e-mail to sunpath a week ago but somehow they haven't replied yet. Maybe they're just not looking for customers... Any advice would be nice (he rhymed...) riggerrob 643 #2 January 23, 2005 Take it easy on Sun Path. Most of their senior staff were at the PIA Symposium last week. Dave Singer probably had a mountain of repairs awaiting his return. Pat Thomas looked exhausted by the end of the Symposium, considering that she did the lion's share of organizing.
upndownshop 0 #3 January 23, 2005 Sorry that you have not received a response from Sun Path. We have been at PIA for the past two weeks. Pat Thomas (owner of Sun Path) also is the Chair person for PIA and she organizes the Symp. in Jacksonville. So we end up helping her before and after PIA. We will all be back Monday morning. I believe it is $30 each change of tape, that is not just for each color change, it is for each time we have to splice a different piece of tape. This option will not be on any of the color selectors due to the fact that it is rarely done. Be careful when switching colors on the same section, there will be an "overlap" in tape thus creating extra bulk (minimum) and may not be pleasing to the eye. From what you are describing this should be no problem, ultimately you will be putting this information in the Special Instructions section on the order form. You can email me direct if you like on Monday at j@sunpath.com Thanks & Blue skies

AiRpollUtiOn 0 #5 January 23, 2005 J, what if I would scan the order form, and send it to my dealer by mail, along with the picture from my first post? Would that work?"Don't make me come down there" - God. darrenspooner 0 #9 January 24, 2005 I see your point entirely. If the truth be known, I spent a long time deliberating about colours for my own odyssey because I wanted my wife to like it! Its now covered in mud which necessitates use of the Brush of Shame.
