1969912 0 #3 January 23, 2012 You're right. I do tend to bash the place a bit, but it really isn't too bad. You pretty much don't have to lock your doors here. Most crime involves drunk WSU students peeing on things. The weather will kick your ass, but only a couple times a year. If you get bored with the stodgy, LDS-ish atmosphere in Pullman, you can pop over the ID border to Moscow(!) and hang out with hippies and liberals. There are a couple of decent places to eat in the area. It's not exactly an employment Mecca for mechanical engineers, but one can get by. I will be hitting Ritzville up, but have to sort out some insurance issues first, possibly as early as this summer.
