jimsneice 0 #3 January 25, 2012 Thank you, I did read all the comments. It was great to hear of him remembered so dearly. He was so great with a personality like no other. He would go overseas in his younger days and would bring us soveniers from Japan.. All still treasured.. We talk of him with pride and you have to smile at the antics he would pull on his mother... JerryBaumchen 1,468 #5 January 26, 2012 Hi Trish, Are you Scott's daughter? Jim was one of my all-time very best friends. I have spent many an evening with him over a beer or dinner just talking about the philosophy of life. Drop me a line at my email ( it's in my profile ) and I'll get you my phone number. I would love to talk about him. I'll tell you about the time he asked me if I knew how to play chess. One of the nicest men that I have ever had the privilege to know and an one of the most committed competitors I've ever jumped against. JerryBaumchen PS) He was my only parachute rigger trainee that actually went on to get his rigger's license. PPS) Trish, right after he was killed I wrote a fairly long poem about him & sent it to his mother; have you ever seen it? I failed to keep a copy and really wish that I had it to show to you.
