Jumping with Invisalign braces

Recommended Posts

Does anyone do this? I know one or two jumpers who have them, but have not talked to them specifically about jumping with them on. If you have them, do you take them out before jumping? Any worries about them breaking if you face-plant? I'm thinking it might add a choking hazard to an already dangerous situation.

I will say this - the suckers stay in place, tight! I'm not worried about them coming off during freefall.

Same question for Wind Tunnels - do you fly tunnel with them in, or take them out?

Think about it;
You effectively have custom fitted mouthguards on both your upper and lower teeth.
Fighters put their mouthguards *in* before the match.

I talked to my ortho and he agreed they protect the teeth during athletic activities.

did an entire season of 8-way training and competition with them...never had an issue.

at the end, your final trays can be used as teeth whitening trays too, if you want! :P

Never meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup!

Surprising to me. I wouldn't think a resin plastic would be nearly as strong as say, a boxing mouthpiece made of rubber. In any event, I'm more concerned about breaking them.

Maybe I'll have to do some testing with one set of the older trays >:(
