But that's stupid, so I propose we just call her "Nat". Or by gosh, her real name, Nataly. No need to get cute about it. And isn't it funny how the votes are so lopsided in favor of "new", when no one even knows what they're voting for... How do you know what the original poster wanted you to vote for? He never stated his premise. You've assumed that it is for the best-looking photo. But perhaps the question is which one looks worse? Or which one makes her look smarter. Or which one has the best hair. And if that's the case, then you may have voted the wrong way. And you have no way of knowing because it was never stated. Let's say that Gallup polling sent you a card in the mail asking for your opinion. The card had only two words on it: "Republican" and "Democrat". How would you vote? Why?
