JohnnyMarko 1 #1 February 2, 2012 ...anyone else done this yet? Or do you old farts even have smart phones? Rather than work on school work like a good senior should, I have been wrapped up in my newly Jailbreakeded iPhone 4...the possibilities are endless and great for A.D.D. minds that love lots going on...anyway, here are some screen shots of some of the possibilities... Lockscreen - it actually functions like the Droid with way more settings and themes Homescreen - tons of icon themes, able to rename any app, rename your carrier (I now have 'Butts' wireless), lots more SMS - this is my favorite...so much going on I never get bored texting people who are annoying
quade 4 #2 February 2, 2012 I've played with it a couple of times, usually whenever I hear about some "awesome" thing I can only do on my iPhone if it has the Jailbreak. Generally speaking I quickly become disenchanted with the novelty and don't really pay attention to the Jailbreak stuff any more. Then a new dot version of the iPhone software will come out and I'm more than willing to let Jailbreak fall by the wayside until somebody once again hooks me with some "awesome" feature I can only get by Jailbreaking. And the cycle repeats. Generally speaking, I like the default screens far more than anyone else has come up with via some Springboard mod. Now . . . my Apple TV2? I can't live without THAT having a Jailbreak. I can't for the life of me figure out why Apple doesn't natively support hooking into a network drive, but it doesn't make sense to me to have to run my computer as a media server when the Apple TV2 can just read the files itself directly.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

theonlyski 8 #4 February 2, 2012 Most of the jailbreak stuff I have on my phone is to make it more useful, not to pretty it up. Thinks like enabling facetime over 3G, a couple monitoring apps (system monitor and such), MyWi and even made an ad blocker for it (see in the pic, no banners?) well, that's because I don't wanna burn time and bandwidth waiting for ads to load."I may be a dirty pirate hooker...but I'm not about to go stand on the corner." iluvtofly DPH -7, TDS 578, Muff 5153, SCR 14890 I'm an asshole, and I approve this message
