Those folks DO put-out some good programming. One of my favorite shows from Canada was 'Corner Gas'. A very well done sit-com. That was in re-runs from a Chicago station. It was a quirky comedy brought about by a man named Brett Butt (his real name) with a cast of award winning Canadian actors. It all takes place at a gas station/grocery store/diner, out in the middle of the Saskatchewan prairie. Some of the things said have become part of our speech. Like 'stay-cation'.
