wmw999 2,589 #3 February 16, 2012 Ebay might work, too. If you can go earlier, Ebay is dead cheap -- I got a copy of Project 2002 (which does everything I actually need) for $35. As long as you get all the documentation, key, etc (half the time they're new in the box) it's even legal.sample Wendy P.There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. LibreOffice is replacing OpenOffice. Regardless, there are some problems trying to substitute BASE for ACCESS. Depends if you are using it as a database or as a frontend for a database plus some other parameters. If you really have to do a lot of work in ACCESS it is the one reason I can see for buying office (or access as a stand-along product if it is available) rather than using OpenOffice or LibreOffice."What if there were no hypothetical questions?" The legal copy through school, is possibly NOT to be traded or given away. The caveats that govern our use at work (a school) dictates that it is for work use and workers. sfzombie 3 #21 February 17, 2012 you are probably correct in this assumption, but as long as the user registers it to the person granted the license and no other copies of the software with the same key exist anywhere, it would be really hard to track down a violation. i have heard that the license exists for the time i'm in school, but i'm not going to stop using it when i graduate.http://kitswv.com
