Oh God, I haven't seen Sweet Charity in ages! "From the minute you walked in the joint... I could see you were a man of distinction, a real big spender!" What great fun!
My top 5 are...

Because life is an adventure - it may not be the one you planned, but then it wouldn't be an adventure!

I LOVE musicals. My favorite musical is Les Miserables -- I cry every time, followed closely by Phantom of the Opera (I LOVE Michael Crawford).
My favorite movie musicals are Singing in the Rain, Two weeks with Love and An Affair to Remember.

I also LOVE Phantom.
Les Miserables, sadly, is one I haven't seen/wish I'd seen.

Jesus Christ Superstar is my all-time favourite. Especially the originally movie version. I haven't really liked any other versions. Just something about the voices of Ted Neeley and Carl Anderson.
A distant second is Les Mis, followed by Evita.

My poor father. It was important he be aware of such things professionally, but didn't have the stomach for most of it--and I was always dressing myself funny, running up and down the living room dancing & singing to Grease, playing the record a bazillion times & watching every John Travolta movie I could get my hands on.
