BillyVance 35 #1 April 27, 2012 Turned out to be a pretty good evening for Alabama's players... Trent Richardson went #3 to Cleveland Mark Barron went #7 to Tampa Dre Kirkpatrick went #17 to Cincinnati Don'ta Hightower went #25 to New England Was hoping to see Courtney Upshaw drafted tonight but it was not to be. So that gives Alabama 8 first round draft picks in the last 2 years. Andrew Luck #1 to Indianapolis Robert Griffin III #2 to Washington DC I think the SEC conference set a record with 9 first round draft picks as well. Croc 0 #2 April 27, 2012 I sure hope Andrew Luck is the right guy. I'm going to watch every Broncos game I can. I would love to see Peyton win another ring."Here's a good specimen of my own wisdom. BikerBabe 0 #5 April 29, 2012 oh man, my team had an incredible draft, for the third year in a row. The Bengals are killing it! I am so excited to see this young team mature. I'm not sure who kidnapped Mike Brown and replaced him with a GOOD owner, but I thank them... Never meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup! BillyVance 35 #6 April 29, 2012 Altogether, 8 Alabama players got drafted, and 3 more were still on the board. They'll get on teams via free agencies... Sounds like a lot, right? But look out, They ain't rebuilding, they're reloading. There are at least 15 more players who could get drafted in the next two years if they live up to their potential. lawrocket 3 #7 April 29, 2012 I always feel bad for those Bengals draftees and go with the under bet on the 90 day over/under till they get arrested. My wife is hotter than your wife.
BikerBabe 0 #8 April 30, 2012 Quote I always feel bad for those Bengals draftees and go with the under bet on the 90 day over/under till they get arrested. eh, that's the old team who was "led" (*snort*) by carson palmer. Now they have some real heart on the field, the off-field antics have diminished a lot. Not like the raiders are much better. speaking of which.... HAHAHA. I'm so sorry for you (well, not really), but I do thank you from the bottom of my orange n' black heart for giving us so many great draft spots in return for one out-of-shape guy that really has no drive to play football anymore... Deal of the decade, IMHO. Well, for us. you guys? kinda got the short end of the stick with that one oh boy, i can't wait for the season to start!Never meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup! BillyVance 35 #9 April 30, 2012 Quote Altogether, 8 Alabama players got drafted, and 3 more were still on the board. They'll get on teams via free agencies... The end result is 8 Alabama players were drafted, and an additional 7 players signed free agent contracts, including some who were 2nd stringers at Alabama. That's 15 who have an opportunity to make a roster somewhere. Wow. lawrocket 3 #10 May 1, 2012 No problem. Yours is a team so bad even Carson Palmer wouldn't play for it. [Laugh] My wife is hotter than your wife.
