Simon Ammann, 4-times olympic gold medalist in ski jumping. He's a licensed skydiver with 55 jumps. He was at my home dropzone this week-end, did 6 jumps, including 4 jumps from 25'000ft AGL.

:)

the place to be that weekend was pretty close... 10th Freeflyfestival in Grenchen. Lots of fun, good jumps and beautiful people. Plus the An-28 :)

I'm glad to see Pat jumping again. I've got him in my log book too.

Working in SoCal you really did get a chance to meet the celebs. Poor ole Utah jumper like me never really met too many famous people. Living in Seattle now maybe I could get Eddie Vedder's signature.;)

Did you see Pat's picture after the surgery, wit a zipper pull glued to the end of his staples? Classic Pat Works!

Speaking of Pat Works works...here are a few of his originals! His mind is amazing!

One of our regular jumpers, Lee Guilfoyle (C-8 & D-50)

I believe he was also IE #7, but I'd have to check on that.

We (my wife and me) always were fans of Simmi Ammann. I knew he is a skydiver but haven't seen the video yet, quite nice. 2 minutes of freefall, woohoo. No wonder he took oxygen with him. Would like to have his signature but as I don't jump in Switzerland I won't have a chance (and so with a signature of Michael Schumacher, hehe)

Haven't had my logbook signed in years, but notables include Lew Sanborn D-1 and Mike McGowan. :)

I'd like to get Mike McGowan's signature, I have a brother-in-law by that name but he is not a skydiver.

He is probably at Skydive Arizona, but I could be wrong.

Not so fast; I've heard 'Twardo may have a few jumps signed off by Leonardo da Vinci.
