sweeney 0 #1 January 8, 2003 Who's the best skydiver you personally know? For me it would have to be Paul Rafferty (current golden knight 8-way captain and several time world champ) he has skills and knowledge and experience.

katiebear21 0 #3 January 8, 2003 I gotta agree with ya, Sean, he is an excellent teacher. I think we've been lucky being brought up in Raeford. You're especially lucky enough to be the kid of the guy that runs the wind tunnel.... Not that you've ever been in there or anything You're going to continue to meet several awesome skydivers when you leave Raeford or once you get back there as a GK yourself! I've only been to two other DZ's but I've had the opportunity to jump with several that I learned a lot from to include Paul, Andy Serrano, Derek Thomas, Craig Girard and Chuck Blue. Each had awesome skills! Can't wait to show Steven Lee my sit!!! Katie Get your PMS glass necklace here

bobsled92 0 #13 January 8, 2003 Dave Dewolf, Every possible jump day at our DZ, he is there and I I have learned something from him every time (for the last 11 yrs). He's been doing freeflying and at 70 I'll be lucky to hit the water in the toilet. He's safe as hell and still kicking butt. I have to admit idolize him & it will pay off if I want to have a long future ("stay in 1 piece") in this sport. THe jokes & stuff he says still make me shoot soda out my nose _______________________________ If I could be a Super Hero, I chose to be: "GRANT-A-CLAUS". and work 365 days a Year. http://www.hangout.no/speednews/

Gawain 0 #15 January 8, 2003 Wow...I can't name all the people I've met since I moved to Southern California. There are a lot of really great jumpers at Elsinore. They know who they are, and I'm sure I've expressed my admiration of their skills to them. I won't list them because then I'll forget and then somebody will get pissed off and then ... yada yada... So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light! AggieDave 6 #18 January 8, 2003 Lets see, I've jumped with Deuce, Skybitch, BillVon, Sunshine, Lolie, damn the list could go on and on and on, eitherway they are the best skydivers I've jumped with. Wanna know how I came up with that? They've got the attitude I like in skydivers, they're there to have fun and have smiles on their faces during the funnels, etc.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." kallend 2,146 #22 January 8, 2003 How about a 22 year old who this year won gold both in FS and in freeflying at the US Nationals, and followed it up with gold at the World Cup, and who was on a 246 way world record at age 18?...
