Skydiving Art

Recommended Posts

I bought the freefalling snowman at a local supermarket, too nice. It now hangs from my bookshelf at my desk and I occasionally give it a tug to make it swing up and down

The "Legoskydiver" was given to me from a fellow skydiver for my 1000th jump - he had built the model with his 5-year-old son.

The whiskey bottle... I gave them a picture of what I wanted to have but the glass artist just managed this interpretation. I could have refused to buy it, but at least it gives an idea. (The bottle is for a chain called "Destille" where you can buy spirits from the tap so that "bring your own bottle" makes sense there ;))

I came across a 3-way with steel figures here at steelman24.com
Just seen they have two more: Round canopy guy and lone star freefaller

The sky is not the limit. The ground is.

some of these are really cool!

my favs are the lego skydiver, the bike art, and the pot rack :) keep em coming!
Sex with sith is like sex with a stripper. A lot of flashing lights and waving of glowing sabers, but in the end you end up with something dark and wrinkely.

I love the lego skydiver. the skydiver in a bottle is cool butwhat the hell is that button on the wall behind the bottle :D

The lego skydiver is cool, but I thought the bottle is TRULY a work of art. Un-be-frickin-lievable.

And WRT the button:

It's just a light switch. B|
I put the bottle on a loudspeaker (before a white background and with the sunlight coming from the right direction) and the light switch was just in the background

I noticed that light switches in anglo-speaking countries are very similar to each other but different to what we have here. Same applies to door handles etc.

But I forgot the "round canopy guy" my son made for me some years ago. See pic attached. A really tough guy he is, a T10 impacts much more softly! ;) That is why he usually hangs from the bookshelf above my desk, "just spotting", see pic attached (with some other skydiving related items visible.)
