Nataly 38 #1 September 16, 2012 I am constantly amazed by the unbelievable fuck-ups I encounter with customer service over here... ROUND 1 - BF's MOBILE PHONE LINE My boyfriend wanted to change operators for his mobile phone. He is required to give one month's notice to leave his current company, which he did. They cut his line 2 days later. His new contract starts in a month and his old provider won't re-activate his line, stating he should have specified a date for the contract termination. He DID specify he wanted it to end on the last day of September, though, but apparently, they cannot find the letter he sent to request the cancellation. This is incredible, since the letter had to be signed for, and we know they definitely received it, since they cancelled his line... A lot of arguing later, they have agreed to reactivate his line for the remainder of the month... They agreed to this on Sept 3rd, but his phone number is STILL not re-activated... Nataly 38 #2 September 16, 2012 ROUND 2 - MY MOBILE PHONE PROVIDER My own mobile phone contract is about to expire and I got a telemarketing call from the company who provides me with internet/TV/landline. Because I have a bundle package with them, they can offer me EXACTLY what I have now with my mobile phone for €16 per month instead of €52 per month... The catch??? They are JUST and fucking incompetent as my boyfriend's company, and have managed to cut MY service (with the *other* company) 2 months early... Impressive... Very impressive... So now I have to argue with both companies in order not to pay €52 + €16 per month for NO PHONE LINE AT ALL for the next two months... Oh boy..."There is no problem so bad you can't make it worse." - Chris Hadfield « Sors le martinet et flagelle toi indigne contrôleuse de gestion. » - my boss
Nataly 38 #3 September 16, 2012 ROUND 3 - TKO!!! Remember the thread about my shutter??? Well, after a mere 7 months, the company responsible for ripping out my shutter has agreed to pay for it's replacement. I called the guy who made the quote, and he said the quote didn't include paint on the wood, because in his experience, that would have made the price too high for the insurence to accept the quote... So I have to fork out an extra grand out of my pocket in order to get the finished product. But you know what??? The guy can shove a paintbrush up his ass because I will paint the goddamned shutters myself. Mwaaaaa haaa haaaaaaaaaa - I WIN!!!!"There is no problem so bad you can't make it worse." - Chris Hadfield « Sors le martinet et flagelle toi indigne contrôleuse de gestion. » - my boss

BIGUN 1,488 #6 September 16, 2012 QuoteROUND 3 - TKO!!! I WIN!!!! I think the only winner in this deal is the one holding the ladder and looking up at that magnificent arse whilst you paint. CSpenceFLY 1 #7 September 16, 2012 She may very well have a fine ass but the winner is the fucker getting a grand to paint shutters.
BIGUN 1,488 #8 September 16, 2012 It depends on your perspective. Looking down with a grand in your pocket or looking up at a priceless work of art. I choose the latter.Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
ryoder 1,590 #9 September 16, 2012 Quote Costs a grand to paint a shutter?? Wow I think she is just looking for volunteers here who will paint it for less."There are only three things of value: younger women, faster airplanes, and bigger crocodiles" - Arthur Jones. You know, I know, everybody knows that she would have absolutely no problem getting volunteers for that. She could probably auction the privildge and make a small fortune. davjohns 1 #13 September 16, 2012 I haven't gotten a phone over here yet. Wondering now if I should even try. Mind sharing who the messed up companies are?I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. But do you think it would be appropriate to just remove all of the warning labels and let nature take its course.

Nataly 38 #15 September 16, 2012 QuoteI haven't gotten a phone over here yet. Wondering now if I should even try. Mind sharing who the messed up companies are? The companies involved were: - France Telecom (they contracted out the guys who destroyed my shutter) - Bouygues (they cut off the bf's line) - Free (they take too long to start a new contract) - SFR (they cocked up my transfer) - Orange (they are fucking thieves for charging €52 for a basic service) I have come to the conclusion that they are all remarkably terrible. They probably all work together to make our lives a living hell...
