lawrocket 3 #1 September 17, 2012 I'm in Fresno and I'm wondering whether the planned flight path on Thursday brings it over Fresno. Or will I have to skip work and go see it someplace else? Help me here. I can't find much of anything. My wife is hotter than your wife.
theonlyski 8 #2 September 17, 2012 They were suppossed to launch today but due to bad WX in Houston, that got pushed back till tomorrow at sunrise. They did say they put a day of wiggle room in their flight plan, so it should still get to Cali on time, but that they may have to take out some of the flybys enroute. I don't see what or where they were going to do or what they changed to though."I may be a dirty pirate hooker...but I'm not about to go stand on the corner." iluvtofly DPH -7, TDS 578, Muff 5153, SCR 14890 I'm an asshole, and I approve this message
popsjumper 2 #3 September 17, 2012 Are you a radical muslim by chance? My reality and yours are quite different. I think we're all Bozos on this bus. Falcon5232, SCS8170, SCSA353, POPS9398, DS239
lawrocket 3 #4 September 17, 2012 Nope. Not a radical Muslim. Just a space junkie who wants to get a look. My wife is hotter than your wife.
TEB6363 0 #5 September 17, 2012 I drug my family out to see Atlantis in May 2009, STS-125 over Edwards... Some guys say we may see Endeavour fly by from here. I don't know if it's worth taking the day to watch for her. Now, if they were LANDING in Fresno Once the plane takes off, you're gonna have to land - Might as well jump out!! lawrocket 3 #6 September 17, 2012 They should, considering we're the 34th most populous city in the US (ahead of New Orleans, Atlanta, Cleveland, Kansas City, Minneapolis, etc.) My wife is hotter than your wife.
swovelin 11 #7 September 18, 2012 On Tuesday morning NASA moved the flight back another day. Now Endeavour is not scheduled to land at LAX until FRIDAY 9/21.
NWFlyer 2 #8 September 21, 2012 It just did a perfect fly-by of my apartment in Oakland. Could not have asked for a better view and I didn't even have to leave home! Help me here. I can't find much of anything. I rode my bicycle over to NASA Ames / Moffet Field and watched it. Got a better view than all the people packed shoulder to shoulder in an official viewing area who were expecting a pass over runway 14R or 14L - the 747 with shuttle flew behind them. Namowal 0 #10 September 21, 2012 Well, from what I can gather from Facebook... 1. The damn thing buzzed everyone I knew within a 40 mile radius, allowing for great photo opportunities... 2. Yet managed to somehow go nowhere near me and my camera. The nerve! My blog with the skydiving duck cartoons.
primetime 18 #11 September 22, 2012 The shuttle flew right past the window of my 6th floor office in Culver City. Damn, I would have loved to add add that bird to my log book.
