theonlyski 8 #26 September 25, 2012 There is an AFF-I at a local DZ that was doing AFF jumps without a helmet (he didn't have one) Turns out, I had a full face that would fit him collecting dust. Found someone going to the other DZ and he got a helmet. Met him a month or so later."I may be a dirty pirate hooker...but I'm not about to go stand on the corner." iluvtofly DPH -7, TDS 578, Muff 5153, SCR 14890 I'm an asshole, and I approve this message

Snowwhite 0 #30 September 28, 2012 I was very proud of my hubby when he gave away all of his equipment. Entire rig, and altimeter. He still has his crazy tie dyed jumpsuit, and I am sure someone will be the proud recipient of that at somepoint in the near future. We call it the good vibes rig, since most of it was originally given to us by RevJim. The person who recieved it was told that he could only give it away, never sell any part of it, or the vibe would change.skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com
mjosparky 4 #31 September 29, 2012 QuoteSo we found a newer jumper who really can't afford to buy gear and handed it to her with the condition that it come back to us when she got gear so we could pass it on to someone else. When I quit I put both rigs up for sale. The old one sold right away but no bites on the newer one. I gave it to a guy with the same conditions. When he was through with it I wanted it back. It is now with the third noob. I have gotten more enjoyment out of that than any money it would have brought in.
