JackC1 0 #2 October 9, 2012 I'm not so sure. It looks like someone bought 2 AFF courses, each person did ground school and 1 jump (out of the 8) and realised skydiving wasn't for them and is trying to sell off the rest of the tickets. So basically it's just 14 jump tickets for a grand.
davelepka 4 #4 October 10, 2012 QuoteSo basically it's just 14 jump tickets for a grand. The ad does say that the tickets are valued at $179 each, so these might be 'AFF jump tickets', not 'sport jump tickets'. Think about it, when was the last time you saw a DZ that would print up such a large and elaborate jump ticket for a fun jumper? The bigger question would if Gold Coast allows transfer of those tickets.
BigMark 1 #5 October 10, 2012 I have asked the seller for clarification.
tkhayes 348 #6 October 10, 2012 and you want to check with the DZ to see if they are even transferrable - they may have a specific no-refund or partial refund policy. And I bet they have a policy about transferring tickets to a new owner.
blueblur 0 #7 October 10, 2012 They read like two sets of AFF lvl 1-7 coupons and log books. Yes, that is a cheap deal if someone is in the area of said DZ and can get them transferred. Hell, the Farm has 1-7 at $1199 with gear rentals, so that's a helluva dealIn every man's life he will be allotted one good woman and one good dog. That's all you get, so appreciate them while the time you have with them lasts. - RiggerLee
