wmw999 2,556 #2 October 29, 2012 I guess they really don't like making that size. That particular one ranges from the 200's up into the 700's. Pretty wide price range for a tire. quade 4 #3 October 29, 2012 Because not all tires are built to the same standards. http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/tires/michelin/product/submitProductSize.do?pc=35467&tmn=Latitude+Diamaris&typ=Truck%2FSUV http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/brochure/info/tmpInfoReadingSidewall.jsp While they may fit the same, they probably don't perform the same in dry, wet and especially how fast they can rotate before exploding. Speed rating is a big one that causes prices to go up as is the amount of grip they have under certain conditions (like racing). Btw, the price shown on Amazon is looks to be significantly higher than suggested retail. Probably has to do with them trying to balance the shipping costs. They'd be pretty fuggin' heavy no matter what.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
blueblur 0 #4 October 29, 2012 because of this quote from the description... "This high performance sport SUV truck tire has been selected as original equipment on many premium, high performance European vehicles." Generally, OEM-specific tires are pricier on the consumer end, especially high performance tires as OEM tires for premium brands. May likely have been built to spec for the OEMs.In every man's life he will be allotted one good woman and one good dog. That's all you get, so appreciate them while the time you have with them lasts. - RiggerLee

Rookie120 0 #6 October 29, 2012 Whats the speed rating on the tire? You can look at 2 of the same brand and make of tire but 2 different speed ratings and the price will be way different. If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!
