Cypres Trade In

Just a reminder if you are thinking what I was thinking about the whole deal...

Cutters have a life time on them of 12 years three months too ;)

When used in a test program, there is no service life on any of the components.:P

Very good point :)
I had considered buying the units for the cutters alone for spares/replacements till I was taught about the batch numbers/DOM and how to inspect for that.

On a seperate quesiton... if some one has a cypres fire at about year 8 and replaces it with a new cutter then their unit "dies" at the 12 year limit... does that mean the cutter is still good for 8 more years or what?

Good question, I haven't got a clue. Is there a "life" on the cutters and if so what?
