When he spoke to their two dogs - in English - the dogs ignored him and shit in the house. When his girlfriend talked to them - in French - the dogs ignored her and shit in the house. BUT, when I spoke to the dogs in German, they sat, listened attentively and shit on the neighbor's lawn! It also helped that I took the dogs for more walks than the other two humans combined! P.S.
