Drunk in Asia again

Had so much fun last year I decided to do it again this year.
Currently pretty blind drunk in hong kong after the best flight ever. 13 hour flight and I'm pretty sure I got close to 20 free drinks out of them.
Flying to Malaysia in a few hours to watch the idiots fall off buildings next week.

Hoping to do a lot more traveling than I did last year. The floods in Thailand really cut off a lot of options. I'm pretty sure I'm going to check out Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos. With a possibility of going to Nepal if I can sort out some cheap flights.

Tip from last year....

Don't get into an elevator with a lady boy.

the Malaysian MotoGP is on in a couple of weeks to mate, Mrs Squeak and some friends will be there.

Made it into kuala lumpur this morning, went into a coma on the flight from Honk Kong. Pretty sure I was asleep before the plane took off and woke up when it landed.
It's a pain the ass trying to find a hostel at 6 am, I hardly ever book rooms in advance because you never know what kind of shithole you are booking and you can usually get cheaper prices by just walking in and haggling on price if you plan to stay for a few days.
Going to spend the next couple days exploring kuala lumpur until the base jumpers start rolling into town, then it's party time :)
For those of you that don't know they organize a 4 day base jumping event from the KL tower every year.
I don't base jump but it's fun to watch and a lot of my friends from all over the world will be here.
There are also some pretty cool cliffs about half hour out of KL that they jump where you hike up thru a bunch of caves to get to the exit point. It's going to be a fun week :)

Heading to tonsai in Thailand tomorrow with a group of jumpers from the KL event. I can't wait, it's probably one of my favorite places in the world to hang out.

After a week or 3 in tonsai I plan on going to Cambodia to see Angkor wat and the killing fields and genocide museum.

That is if I make it to my flight in the morning. Tonight there is a huge after party for all the base jumpers at one of the posh nightclubs downtown, and there is free booze all night!!!!

Made it to tonsai where I had planned on doing some climbing but on the second night I was attacked by a dead tree and ended up with a couple of smashed toes.
Guess. I'm just going to have to drink beer on the beach for a week.

I had to leave tonsai a bit earlier than planned, the cut on my foot was getting really infected and being near the ocean wasn't helping it get any better. Took a trip to the hospital to get it looked at and got a dose of pain killers and antibiotics.

Heading to Cambodia tomorrow to go check out Angkor Wat, the genocide museum and the killing fields. Should be a very interesting experience. Think I might head to Vietnam after that. Not to sure what to do there, but I'm sure I can find something interesting.
