Seems to me her parents want her to become a cash cow with her singing career. We've all seen it happen before with other singers and actresses - Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, etc.

Those parents are total control freaks and very much nuts. I'm glad she could get away from them.

So many people who go into the performing arts carry a lot of baggage, common theme is "onstage I could forget who I was and be someone else." It makes me wonder if poor Aubrey is going to need a lot of therapy to get past her weird childhood.

But spying on the daughter, threats, etc. Sounds over the top. Based on the
the school administration reaction they have seen this type of parenting before.

a VERY good example of why it's WISE to have MORE than one Kid....
Then the crazy Parents ( of which there are MANY ) can "spread it around" a little... and NOT heap alll their weirdness onto One kid......

maybe the parents ought to "get a Life".. and leave their ADULT child, alone, to hers.....
