They risk up to 4years of prison. Keep them. Seems kind of outrageous that they could get 4 years of prison when google tells me the average prison sentence for rape is 8 years and sexual assault is 6 years (with about half that time actually served)... What's a couple hundred dollars of dents on the roof of a car compared to the kind of damage rape/assault causes to a human being??? Abedy 0 #3 January 8, 2013 A scumbag here killed four young people when he crashed his car into theirs; he was under the influence of both alcohol (0,165 per cent) and cocaine. The young folks had a designated driver, did everything right but their small car couldn't compete with a 340-horsepower Beamer. Scumbag's lawyer even "reasoned" the young folks "should have tried much more to avoid my client's car" etc. Scumbag got away with 3 years 3 months, didn't even serve it in full (clicky) Look hereThe sky is not the limit. Another person just got paid $75K in a police brutality settlement this week. Seattle cops seem to have been watching Dog the Bounty Hunter or Cops a little too much. They're getting a lot of these cases.

Started as a noise complaint, no booze. Rookie copNice lady, public defender, cop on jury. Convicted felon, Police office was unharmed the female perpwas taken down hard in front of her house. mpohl 1 #8 January 9, 2013 Again, the absurdity of the freest country in the world on display. Never mind that one can get life-behind-bars for stealing a slice of pizza (three strikes) !!!! The sisters were just displaying their love for life and the police. At most, they should be held accountable for the damage caused, but that's about it. Come on, at 22 and 23... Four years?! That's outrageous.
