Line boy at the airport drove the fuel truck into its door. Body shop fixed it. Glad to hear it.

JohnMitchell 16 #28 January 9, 2013 Hah, it made it thru another commute. Although I've had a few things break over the years, it's still got the original clutch and the engine appears to be running fine. Sure, I do want to get a new car, kinda halfway shopping, but this old Ford saves me so much $$$ I'm in no real hurry.

skydiverbry 0 #30 January 10, 2013 My first car was a Chevy Monza Coupe. That little, light car came from the factory with a 305 V-8 and man she would shit n get! Take about tight fits, that V-8 was such a tight fit in the engine compartment that you had to loosen up the motor mounts and jack up the engine to change the spark plugs form the underside. For some reason had a hard time keeping rear tires on that little suckerThe other bad thing was it had an all aluminum automatic transmission (Turbo Hydromatic 200) that the motor was hard on.....had to replace it 3 times. (Could have been my driving technique as far as the tires and tranny were involved[;)). The only thing I hated about it was it had a white interior which was impossible to keep clean! Traded her for a Jeep CJ-7 when I turned 18. Loved that car !!!!!! Bry -------------------------------------------------- Growing old is mandatory.Growing up is optional!!
