kanada 0 #1 December 8, 2004 Hi I'm looking for opinion on different on different types of full face helmets from people using them. I'm specially interested in opinion of people who are using prescription lenses. I would like to by one this winter so thanks for all constructive opinions. thanks Tom
EDYDO 0 #2 December 8, 2004 It depends on the helmet AND the glasses. I have a small pair of glasses and they will not fit into my Bonehead Havok. That's why I bought the Havok. I was just sure these little glasses would fit. I have a larger pair that will fit. It depends on their SHAPE. Try your glasses with the helmet you intend to buy, first. Then there is the fogging issue. There is now twice the chance of fogging. I mostly wear contacts with my Havok and the problem is solved (until I change to my camera helmet ) Ed
darkwing 5 #3 December 8, 2004 I bought a Bonehead Havok because I got tired of glasses hassles with my Z1. The Havok is great with my glasses. I have had 3 different pairs and all are fine with the Havok. I haven't seen anything that would tempt me to switch from my Havok, unless I stopped wearing glasses, then I would get a FreeZR. -- Jeff My Skydiving History
pilotdave 0 #4 December 8, 2004 There have been a million threads about this...do a search. But the bottom line in my experience has been that it depends most on head size/shape, not glasses size (as long as they're reasonably small). My Z1 fits great over my glasses...don't even need to take them off to put it on or take it off. But a lot of people with wider faces can't fit glasses under a Z1. Only way to know what will work for you is to try them on. Dave
riggerrob 643 #5 December 8, 2004 I have tried a dozen different full-face helmets, but my huge jaw only fits gracefully into a Bonehead HAVOK. Coincidentally, my HAVOK its comfortably over my glasses.
ltdiver 3 #6 December 9, 2004 Bonehead is coming out with a new full face helmet early next year. It's beautiful! I've tried it on with my glasses and it fits great! Plus, you get the added bonus of its custom liners which you can shape to your head. Not sure of its release date, but I've put my order in for one already! :^) ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
