theonlyski 8 #1 December 31, 2012 I know there are several bugs with this site in say Firefox or Safari but aren't present in IE. My poll is basically, is there a bunch of us using other than IE? I just want to know before I start investing time in trying to find/fix them if most people are on IE. Also, what bugs do you find most annoying and which browser? I'm kind of bored."I may be a dirty pirate hooker...but I'm not about to go stand on the corner." iluvtofly DPH -7, TDS 578, Muff 5153, SCR 14890 I'm an asshole, and I approve this message

FlyingRhenquest 1 #6 December 31, 2012 Firefox with the noscript plugin was my browser for a long time, but on the sites where I do allow javascript (Including a couple of Hudson pages at work,) I've found that Chrome renders them much faster. Chrome also has a noscript-like addon so I can disable javascript on most sites. I find browsing the web to be much less obnoxious if you do this. The sites that demand javascript be turned on are easily blacklisted and never visited again.I'm trying to teach myself how to set things on fire with my mind. Hey... is it hot in here? While my favorite by a mile is Chrome, it annoys the hell out of me that Google *still* has not released a 64-bit version for Mac OS X, making it incompatible with the 64-bit-only Java on Mac OS X."There are only three things of value: younger women, faster airplanes, and bigger crocodiles" - Arthur Jones. Websites that use Flash for no good reason annoy the hell out of me so I have long used FlashBlock to stop Flash unless I really want to see it. Just a few weeks ago I realized the Chrome has the function buillt-in, and I didn't even need FlashBlock, so I removed it."There are only three things of value: younger women, faster airplanes, and bigger crocodiles" - Arthur Jones. BillyVance 35 #10 December 31, 2012 I've been happy with Mozilla Firefox on my PCs as long as AdBlock+ is plugged in. I quit using Explorer years ago. As for the iPad, I just use what came with it - Safari since I don't know any better. I'm not a nuts and bolts kind of user like you are, but you already know that. oldwomanc6 60 #11 December 31, 2012 I use Safari w/AdBlock Options, and I haven't noticed anything amiss. What kind of bugs are you talking about? Maybe, I have them and just don't know it. theonlyski 8 #12 December 31, 2012 The one that bugged me this morning was in Firefox/Safari when replying to a PM, using any of the faces or tags (code, reply, quote, bold...) kicked that to the end of the message instead of where the cursor is."I may be a dirty pirate hooker...but I'm not about to go stand on the corner." iluvtofly DPH -7, TDS 578, Muff 5153, SCR 14890 I'm an asshole, and I approve this message
oldwomanc6 60 #13 December 31, 2012 Oh, I get that one when I post from my phone. I assumed it was a mobile thing. I never noticed it on my laptop. I'm going to go test it. Yes, it's doing that now in Safari and on Firefox. Putting them in manually is rather cumbersome. lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB

peek 21 #16 December 31, 2012 I keep updated with the latest Firefox and use Adblock Plus. It has been so long since I experienced any kind of problem that I would consider a "bug", that I don't remember one.

IMO IE is a horrible satan spawn that was put to this planet to drive people insane. Personally I've been using Opera since 2000 and have absolutely no reason to use other browsers (beyond testing that the pages I'm responsible for work on them).Your rights end where my feelings begin.
