katiebear21 0 #1 December 7, 2004 I finally got my Vector put together from the auction at Rantoul. DOM 98 but it had NEVER been assembled and it's not faded one bit. I was absolutely AMAZED. Container sold for $300 and only needed a few components. Check it out. Katie Get your PMS glass necklace here

slotperfect 7 #3 December 7, 2004 I am not a Vector III tips & tricks expert, but if you can find one I know there's a way to "train" those riser covers so they don't ripple like that.Arrive Safely John

Yeah, the other thing is the padding under the shoulders is almost non-existant. Someone said if it's been hanging as a display that would be a cause (especially for the last 6 years!). I can feel the cable housing on the left shoulder pretty predominantly. It is very stiff but Kate says they break in nicely. I'm hoping it will break in enough that the ripple will slowly disappear. I'm not schooled at all on Vectors but was surprised to see one like mine with many of the newer options. MrHixxx 0 #6 December 7, 2004 You might have hubby give Joe in Monroe a call. If I remember right, he has the technique for minimizing the wrinkles on the secondary riser covers. He could probably pass it on to Chuck with a phone call. -Jondeath,as men call him, ends what they call men -but beauty is more now than dying’s when
pilotdave 0 #7 December 7, 2004 My vector was very stiff and uncomfortable when I first got it. I was really worried that the cable houings in the shoulders would bother me. Loosened up after a few jumps and it's very comfortable now. No riser cover issues with mine though. Dave

Please pass om the "riser cover training techniques" as I am somewhat a novice in Vector III's.... Tim T. Team Paraclete
