rehmwa 2 #5 January 24, 2013 QuoteWhat is the fine for acting like a three year old? I can't access the clip from work, but didn't she have a tantrum on her racket? That's better than many sports. In hockey, apparently you can lose your temper and swing a stick at the back of someone's head and permanently damage them in a severe way. I believe in that case you don't go to jail, but you might get fined or suspended. (Pick a few other sports as well when crippling and intentional illegal hits or assaults are just kept within the sport) So if we're to be proportional - I suspect damaging just a piece of her personal property would warrant her being given a piece of chocolate cake and a stern glance. edit: short answer - I suspect there are better places to focus energy than on some harmless tantrum by a prima donna ... Driving is a one dimensional activity - a monkey can do it - being proud of your driving abilities is like being proud of being able to put on pants

BillyVance 35 #7 January 24, 2013 QuoteWasn't she previously fined $175,000 or so for a tantrum? She looks to simply be a spoiled bitch. I remember a big fine, but not how much. And having a tantrum in front of thousands in attendance and millions watching on TV.... It ended up being only $2k (only!). http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/09/12/us-tennis-open-williams-fine-idUSTRE78B62Y20110912 And that was for blowing up at an official. The article talks about her previous incidents that have landed her on probation and gotten her fined. All she did here was destroy a racket. That was probably given to her in the first place (although it probably retails for quite a bit). And yeah, she acts like a spoiled little kid throwing a tantrum on a pretty regular basis."There are NO situations which do not call for a French Maid outfit." rifleman 70 #10 January 24, 2013 It depends on the level of the tantrum - generally it's a warning, then lose a point, lose a game, lose a set, lose the match for repeated violations. Of course, if you injure a member of the umpiring team while doing it, irrespective of whether it's a first offence or not, you get disqualified as David Nalbandian found out at Queen's last year when he kicked an advertising hoarding during his final match with Cilic. Part of the hoarding cut the leg of a line judge and Cilic won the title after approx 1 1/2 sets.Atheism is a Non-Prophet Organisation
