catfishhunter 2 #1 February 10, 2013 Never ever did I think I deserved the life I have today. Woke up to a wonderful life that started 11 years ago today. I get to spend it sitting in the ski Lodge as my 6 year old son and my wife get to share something special that the two of them love so much and they are both awesome at and because of GoPro I get to enjoy it without breaking my old ass. :) I am so blessed. If anyone is sick and tired of being sick and tired there is a way out. If this junkie can do it so can you. And in the immortal words of Squeak..My Life Rocks! how's yours? Maybe it's got something to do with perspective & positive out-look...the few times my life was stuck in the suck-zone I figured out pretty quick I couldn't live that way & changed things. Perspective ~ The wife was recently stressing, getting overwhelmed by some 'perceived' problems. I had her write everything down so we could prioritize and address things calmly. She gave me the list which I edited and handed back...it's ALL in how ya look at things! - 'Car isn't running right' became ~ 'Have to drive Jim's convertible sports car, while my convertible sports car gets serviced' - 'Property a torn up mess 1/2 the trees being cut down, dead from the drought' became ~ 'More sun coming in the windows every morning and sunsets now visible' The whole list went like that...she started laughing and tore it up saying 'you're right' ~ "Our Life Rocks" ~ If you choke a Smurf, what color does it turn? ~ Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
