It was never easy. Personally, I have a policy of never lying. I rarely mention it because...that's exactly the kind of thing a liar would say. So, what's the point? It just makes things easier on me. It doesn't do much for anyone else. They should still assume I'm lying. I assume all of you are my ex wife bent on some scheme of destruction until proven othewise. lolI know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. After saying you wanted to make contact with the one in the white jumpsuit because you thought he was handsome...made me more than curious. I understand infatuation with an older guy as a 6 yr. old little girl, but 15 years later wanting to re-connect so you can tell him you always thought he was handsome & you plan to do a tandem in the spring....I thought was a little unusual ! And here I thought that by joining dz.com before you even started skydiving I'd get away with it That said, my father and my son were both active on the internet as it started, and I participated in newsgroups. So I knew there was always a possibility of one or the other of them reading what I'd written, and haven't ever written something I wouldn't want them to read. Works for me. I just wanted to find out who they were and hopefully say that maybe watching them jump all those years ago influenced me and that I'm finally doing a tandem and how much I'm interested in the sport. That's all. Holy cow, I can see if that's what you thought on how I would look like a nut case! eeekkk!!No matter how slowly you say oranges it never sounds like gullible. Believe me I tried. davjohns 1 #68 February 11, 2013 Actually, a full body shave in the shower doesn't take but a few minutes. The first time, you want to use clipper first to get the bulk of the hair. And you are going to be shocked at how much hair you have on your body. After that, a couple of times per week will do for maintenance. Do it twice if you have expectations of sex. Full body stuble is not sexy (just guessing, but I think it's a good guess). The line about turning myself over and checking was a joke. I don't care if you send me pics or not...there are no pics of my junk and never will be. I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. davjohns 1 #70 February 11, 2013 Semi-amusing story about that. A couple of years ago, I had a guy who kept sending me messages asking if he could get the unedited versions of pics I had posted on a bodybuilding forum. It was clear that I was nude when the pic was taken, but all the naughty bits were edited out. He was very polite / charming about it. Every once in a while, he would send me a message to see if I had changed my mind. It was always charming or witty. I was flattered, but he wasn't getting anywhere. I was always polite when I declined. I figured it was probably similar to what women go through, although I'm sure some guys aren't nearly as charming about it.I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. But do you think it would be appropriate to just remove all of the warning labels and let nature take its course.
MikeJD 0 #71 February 11, 2013 My one and only 'friend' on here is someone I don't think I've ever talked to - I just got the request pretty much as soon as the option had been added to the site, and it seemed rude to refuse! People send out friend requests for different reasons. Maybe they do want to express a liking for or solidarity with you. Maybe they want to get in your pants. Maybe they want to get themselves (or their product) on as many people's radars as possible. Maybe they just want to bolster their friends list to appear popular (and let's face it, the internet is gradually becoming one big popularity contest!) BillyVance 34 #73 February 11, 2013 When the friend option started on here, a bunch of us utilized it, but not all. I got up to maybe 50 friends, but then figured, well, I'm on facebook too and you need to friend others to see what they post. On here, everybody sees your posts so whats the point? Then I got rid of my list of friends and turned the feature off. One thing though, just about everybody on here knows me, so I've gotten friend requests on facebook from people whose names I don't even recognize. One check of their wall and info as well as mutual friends and I've got it figured out.
