Dark Water

This news story caught my attention, not just for how tragic it is for the family and the girl, but for how eerie it is. The plot of the 2002 movie, Dark Water, involves a similar outcome as to what happened to Elisa Lam. I post this because it chilled me when I made the connection (as did the last video of her in the hotel elevator) and I get in a sharing mood when things creep me out.

How the hell did someone haul her up there??

"To get to the tanks, someone would have to go to the top floor then take a staircase with a locked door and emergency alarm preventing roof access.

While carrying a dead person???

And then shoved her into a hole too small for firefighters??

Think about it; she's tiny. If she's small enough to fit through a hatch like that, how much can she weigh?

I think the bigger question is: How did no one notice, or no alarms go off?

Hahah! No way I can haul 100lbs of dead weight up a 10 foot ladder.

To you point though it does seem pretty inside jobby if the door was alarmed. Plus who else besides regulars up to the roof would even know about that cistern and the access panel on top of it?

My new theory:

Its gonna turn out being the huge scandanavian massage lady who can dead lift 300lbs and was having a work romance with the roof repairman (that's how she knew where to dump the body) and the visiting guest got involved with the roof repairman causing a love triangle that ultimately led to the huge buff massage lady killing the poor guest and sticking her in the water tank as both a fck you to the guests (that she blames for ruining her love with the repairman) and a way to make sure the repairman realizes how badly he hurt her by throwing it in his face.




I think its pretty rock solid. I have been watching tons of Law and Order on Netflix lately.
