Pammi 0 #26 October 8, 2002 QuoteJust inside my left hipbone, I have a half-sun/half-moon forming a complete circle with wings coming from each side. I've gotten a lot of compliments on it! Hmmm...that makes me wonder how often it was seen, being in that area :) Nude jumps? :)
PLFXpert 0 #27 October 8, 2002 He he he...nah, I'm an exhibitionist!Just kidding! I have long legs...I usually wear my pants/shorts around my hips so sometimes, my tattoo peaks out. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

PLFXpert 0 #29 October 8, 2002 I won't elaborate much but I will tease you this: When I got the tattoo, the tattoo artist didn't have to use his razor
skydiverchick 0 #30 October 8, 2002 mine is of a closing pin with blue sky behind it. It is in the small of back aproxmatly in the right place. btw tattoo on the spine hurts like hell. Mother Hen
PLFXpert 0 #31 October 8, 2002 it didn't hurt me;-) the one on my spine didn't bother me a BIT, the one inside my hip bone made me nauseus the second time he did it (i started it a couple years ago, and then added on to it recently, it is still small, though). I think it was the way I was positioned in the chair, though, not the pain. It's all mind over matter. When I got the one on my lower spine, the guy had his other hand on my upper back to balance. He was tapping his hand. I concentrated on his hand tapping and how that felt on my upper back. I barely felt the needle on my lower back.
Deuce 1 #32 October 9, 2002 I've got a tatoo on my right bicep, inside. The artist says "You know that's one of the most painful places I could do this, right?" I'm like "yeah, yeah". She had my full attention the couple hours she was drilling on me, I tell you what! It came out great, though. Doesn't hurt at all now!
TXSkydancer 0 #33 October 9, 2002 Mine was custom designed by an Tattoo Artist who brought his wife-to-be and bridal party out to do tandems the day before they tied the knot. It's of Tigger flying a canopy! Had it done on lower back where the top of the canopy just peaks out above my shorts... Tigger's tail hurt like crazy as it was being done. Thanks to Bear and Tammy from Burning Desires in Waco, TX for giving me a great deal (I was one of the tandem instructors) Blue Skies and Safe Landings! airann 1 #36 October 10, 2002 I know a guy who has a headdown/stand/headdown/stand etc.... around his upper arm. Its pretty cool. They person who did it had no idea about skydiving I was told. So knowing that I think he did a fine job. I might have a picture of it someplace. I think its on the bunch where Levin is pieing him on his 500th. ~AirAnn~
