8 jumps, 3 Notable events, being first jump with Vader, a rocking hybrid and another tandem jump. I'm married the last number is un-necessary

Format is Humps:Jumps:Beer Owed.

The first may be any events other than jumps as long as you explain why they are significant enough to warrant being substituted for Humps (and you the poster are solely responsible for making that call - what we think doesn't amount to a tinker's dam ).

It's a shame this once important topic has been dropped by the wayside.

Crap weather again so no jumps but spent the weekend working on our new rental house. It's a half hour from the DZ, so we're planning to rent it for a year, then do a little remodel and move to there. Got a lot of stuff to do the next 12 months.

I'm teaching the FJC next weekend so I'm sure it will be blue skies and sunshine while I'm trapped in the classroom.

Finally got my ass up in the sky for the first time this year.
Awful, awful spring kept me on the ground until this weekend.

One H&P for currency, one 4way that went ok for my first jump of the year.

I need to think about the notable events part, they were all pretty fun.
So what is the syntax for this response?

The "notable event" (and beer) was earning my WSCR at Bay Area Skydiving (Byron) on Saturday. We had a great group out for 4-way scrambles, and pulled eight women together at the end of the day to do a WSCR on sunset load.

We had a few men who came joined us as well, but unfortunately, we built it late enough in the dive that they weren't able to dock (we actually built with plenty of time, but wanted to be sure we held our 8-way with just the women for 5 seconds to be sure we had it, THEN we were going to allow the men to come in, but we signaled for them to join us just at breakoff time.

Still, really cool to be part of the revival of this piece of skydiving history!
