skip 0 #1 August 26, 2005 That is are we born with the insight to be sexually attracted to another persons body/mind/whatever it is that sexually turns you on? For example you bound up in Plato’s cave; that is you know nothing about the outside world. You are freed and walk out of the cave and before you is (insert attractive person), naked, ready to go; are you turned on? Or is sexual attraction a learned experience. We live in a very sexually charged world does this aid our sexual attraction? neilp
waltappel 1 #2 August 26, 2005 Sexual attraction is an instinctive behavior triggered by BOOBIES. Any skydiver knows that!!! Walt
SpeedRacer 1 #3 August 26, 2005 Some of it is, some of it isn't, would be my guess. Probably basic things like being gay or straight are hardwired into your brain, but the particular QUALITIES you are attracted to are probably highly influenced by your upbringing & environment. Ashtanga 0 #5 August 26, 2005 Sexual attraction isn't just human nature it is a all living thing nature. Ever noticed how dogs and monkeys get it on right away. They don't have to play games or buy dinner to get some. I wish I was a dog. But I am a . A Sky[Monkey].
j0nes 0 #6 August 26, 2005 i think a better question is that if you spent your whole childhood tied up (as in your example), would you be more inclined towards bondage OR in fear of it due to your lifetime of being bound?

Steel 0 #12 August 26, 2005 I think sexual attraction is taught kind of like skiing is taught. People have skied for thousands of years before us and are continually improving the efficiency as well as the pleasure derived from it. {Now I can get a little contraversial here but we all know its fun} Think back to Marilyn Monroe in the sixties. Everybody thought she was so hot but by today's standards she is flat out fat with good proportions. The open choice back then was not as open and therfore guys had to settle for what was available or masterbate. The same is true for women. Look at the older movies from the 40's and see just how stupid looking these guys were with their pants pulled up so high. But hey, there were women who found that attractive (or made themselves believe so as a defense mechanism). Now think of the Scottish women who like those guy's in the kilts (skirts). Again that is what the men do there and that is what the women need to find a way to like. Or back in colonial days when they ran around in panty-hose and wigs. Still I do believe there is such a thing as true beauty / attractiveness. Such as Angelina Jolie and Sarah Michelle Geller or Heidi Klum. And for the guys I do believe that there is a better appearance such as Arnold Schwarzeneggar, Frank Zane or me. But that might be just my point of view, who really knows. If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. Can't think of anything I need No cigarettes, no sleep, no light, no sound. Nothing to eat, no books to read.
Vallerina 2 #13 August 26, 2005 It is what you are born with. My nephew wasn't even a year and a half years old when he would stare at pretty women in stores. Whenever a pretty girl would talk to him, he would start clapping and cheering. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Ashtanga 0 #16 August 26, 2005 I met her, Neve Campbell, and Courtney Cox on the set of Scream 2. I remember that Sarah and Courtney looked anorexic skinny. Not attractive. Neve was perfect though. She is a very cool person. Courtney yelled at the security guards to "get these damn people (extras) away from me!" when the camera was not recording. skip 0 #22 August 26, 2005 QuoteWhat is it that you are referring to as being learned? The original question was not intended to have anything to do with sexual orientation or what physical qualities attract you to a person. I’m asking about Sexual Attraction period. Do we naturally have the ability to be sexually attracted to a person? Or do we learn it as we go? neilp
