huckfinn 0 #1 November 24, 2004 I'm looking for a used or inexpensive rigger's exam manual. I've already done all the reading but pretty much just need to brush up via the study guide. Any ideas? Thanks, Ginny
councilman24 37 #2 November 24, 2004 All the questions are available on line from the FAA. Too lazy to do the search for you. Now if you want answers and references you could try this. http://www.makeithappen.com/products/rigexam.html Haven't seen it but know the vendor.I'm old for my age. Hooknswoop 19 #3 November 24, 2004 The test questions were updated this year (as of 05/11/2004 w/ 305 questions). Was this study guide updated for the new test questions? The current question bank has some errors that I hope to hear back from the FAA on shortly. Before that they were updated on 06/09/2003 w/ 290 questions. And before that they were updated on 6/11/2002 w/ 290 questions. Derek
councilman24 37 #5 November 24, 2004 I don't know if this has been updated. We'll have to asked Jan. Dave DeWolf has posed some of the same questions you have to the FAA. The contact he asked got five different answers from 5 different people (in the FAA). So, some of the questions have went to legal for an interpretation. Don't hold your breath for these items the you (and maybe me) feel are no brainers. If your in Jacksonville for the rigging committee meeting before the symposium show up. We usually have a discussion about these items. I don't know when the rigging committee meeting is yet.I'm old for my age.
