Reality imitates "Barney Miller"

Recommended Posts

I grew up watching the show. Intelligent humor and a great cast. I've been randomly saying a line from this episode for a long time, just to see if people know the reference.

7:42. Jack Soo was so dead pan and when he broke character, it made it even funnier.

IMO, one of the all-time best shows on TV. "Who's atomic bomb?":)

I loved it for it's topical humor on current events. Also, the scriptwriting often had the "Deitrich" character actually educating the audience on issues such as PTSD. Harris was always my favorite; I just *loved* his style!B|

My favorite Jack Soo line, (from the episode when some drug-bust evidence went missing):
"Ten pounds of marijuana didn't just disappear in a puff of smoke...not *that* fast!":D
"There are only three things of value: younger women, faster airplanes, and bigger crocodiles" - Arthur Jones.
