skydiverbry 0 #1 August 22, 2013 Well on Aug.2 I had surgery done on my head. I had a serious would on my neck and scalp which left me with a bald spot and a concave wound. To try and make it less apparent I needed to have tissue expanders place under the affected area. I had the surgery after my skin graft had healed and now the are instilling 20cc of normal saline twice a week. My head looks like a big, uneven valley of rocks and after today it feels like my head is swollen (which it is) but it also feels like my head is 50lbs heavier......funky. skydiverbry 0 #6 August 22, 2013 Thanks all for the quick healing thoughts....trying to get this over with........been seeing and dealing with this since Feb 18. I have, I understand it, about 3-4 months of this and then they are going back in to take out the tissue expanders the going to pull the loose skin over the affected area....should at the very least get the bald spot less notable.
