wildcard451 0 #3 August 26, 2013 Yeah, that dude had that coming. Pay attention. He wasn't even in his own pit box. No fault on Dixon at all
turtlespeed 226 #4 August 26, 2013 normiss The dude carrying the tire WAS outside his box! The announcer clearly states that those lines were for the cup race. Whatever that means. I assume that this is not the cup race by how he said it.I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun

CanuckInUSA 0 #6 August 26, 2013 Dixon's fault. He was more concerned about getting back out on the track than anything else. However with that said, being a pit crew member in any form of motorsports is anything but a safe occupation. F1, Indy, NASCAR, Lemans, Daytona Prototype series, GT, German DTM, Aussie V8s, Brazial Stock Cars. You name the series where they are doing pit stops and there will be cases where a pit crew member has been taken out. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
Arvoitus 1 #7 August 26, 2013 To my eyes it looked like that dude tried to slow the red car down but didn't really understand that a car vs. human is always a lose-lose situation for the human. masterrig 1 #8 August 26, 2013 It was mentioned by a crew member, during the race, that crew members will do that on purpose to slow a driver from getting out ahead of their driver. The tire guy should not have had that tire on his hip but what's done is done. Chuck

I assume that this is not the cup race by how he said it.The Cup races refers to NASCAR races held there. The markings for Indy cars are red marks on the pit pavement. Power's car was right on the marks. Dixon cleared the tire man but the fender of his car caught the tire the guy was carrying on his hip. It was at that point the Vigaro hit the Mix-master!
